Invento - Intento - Invention - Intent

Só pelas palavras sei

da intima parte do pensamento;

mas sei quebrar o ensejo

de tornar a saber o que pensei:

não recusei ceder-lhe emoção nesse momento.

 

Only by the words do i know

of the intimate part of the thought;

but i know brake the opportunity

to make known what i thought;

i didn`t refuse give him emotion at that moment.

 

Sem recreação o pensamento

resvala no vazio da indiferença,

como muitas ideias cristalizadas:

pois tudo já foi pensado em ideias repetidas e avaliadas;

não há nada de novo de tudo o que se pensa!

Mas eu ainda acredito na originalidade e invento:

 

Without recreation the thought

slips into the void of indifference,

like many crystallized ideas:

because everything has been thought of repeated ideas and evaluated;

there is nothing new about everything you think!

but i still believe in originality, and invent:

 

Em que misturo imaginação e sonho e recordo:

inacabada reinvenção de todas as suas lembranças,

só os devaneios trazem a esperança como âncora

em que o desejo de edificar a memória que reponho de novo

em que recrio o pensamento para todas as mudanças;

como a pintura que se recria numa antiga, equilibrada e bela ânfora

 

In which i mix imagination and dream and remember:

unfinished reinvention of all your memories,

only daydreams bring hope as an anchor

in which the desire to build the memory that i reset again

in which i recreate the thought for all changes;

like the painting that recreates itself in an old and balanced and beautiful amphora
