I don`t know, why ( the love in silence )

Mas ouço mais uma melodia,

que apaga todas as dúvidas,

àquela verdade ( o amor )

tão simples, em que tudo seria,

como esta certeza sem validade!

E são todas as músicas,

que repetem e sugerem ( o amor ).

O refrão do amor e da saudade!

E gostei de juntar ( o amor )

essa palavra secreta, de canção em canção,

à amizade em louvor, em fervor...

But i listen one more melody

which delete all the doubts,

to that truth ( the love )

so simple, when all should be,

as this certainty without validity!

And are all the songs,

which repeat and suggest ( the love ).

The refrain of love and longing!

And  liked to join ( the love )

that secret word, from song to song,

to the friendship of praise, of fervour...
