Na busca de completude - In search of completeness

 

Não desejei mesmo viver,

só para escrever;

antes, escrevo para ser

        e existir.

Sem culpabilidade,

para tão duras realidades,

       outras efémeras;

       umas eternas!

 

Pensei, como maneira e

         certa coragem:

perante o mundo, a voragem,

a solidão, o egoísmo;

a resistência a tudo, o ( lirismo ),

que podia trazer ânimo e esperança

           como a mudança!  

 

Tomei nota da invenção pródiga,

de um outro tempo;

o lirismo procrastinado ( a séria vertente )

de desavisado esquecimento,

ou apenas indiferênça conveniente.

I did not wish even live,

merely to write;

instead, i write to be

      and exist.

Without culpability,

to such harsh realities,

      others mayfly;

      ones eternal!

 

I thought as a way and

      certain courage:

Before the world, maelstrom,

the solitude, the egoism;

the resistance to everything, the ( lyricism );

Which could bring heart and hope

      as a change!

 

I have noted lavish invention,

of another time;

of the lyrism procrastinated ( serious slope )

of unsuspecting oblivion,

or only indifference convenient.
